Published: 13. june. 2026

Nordkisa Historie is an open and free knowledge project dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing local history from Nordkisa, Ullensaker, and surrounding areas. To contribute articles, images, documents, or other content, you must follow the rules below. These rules are inspired by similar principles used in open knowledge projects, where contributors are responsible for the content they submit.

1. Registration Is Limited

Registration of user accounts is limited. If you wish to register as a contributor, you must contact the editorial team. Nordkisa Historie reserves the right to decide whether new user accounts will be created.

2. You Must Provide Accurate Information

You must register using your real name and correct contact information. Anonymous accounts, false names, or misleading information may be rejected or removed. The principle of open identity helps maintain credibility and trust.

3. You Are Responsible for What You Submit

You are personally responsible for all content you submit. Information should, to the best of your ability, be accurate, verifiable, and relevant to the subject. Deliberate misinformation, falsifications, or misleading content are not permitted.

4. Copyright Must Be Respected

You must have the right to submit texts, photographs, documents, maps, illustrations, or other materials. You may not upload content that infringes upon the copyright or other rights of others.

5. The Editorial Team May Edit Content

Submitted material may be edited, corrected, shortened, moved, or removed if necessary for quality, language, structure, or fact-checking purposes. Contributors must accept this as part of the collaboration.

6. Respectful Conduct Is Required

Threats, harassment, personal attacks, discrimination, hate speech, spam, advertising, or other inappropriate behavior are not permitted. Such contributions may be removed without notice.

7. Privacy Must Be Respected

Personal information about living individuals must be handled with care. Nordkisa Historie may reject or remove content that violates privacy or applicable laws.

8. The Editorial Team Decides What Is Published

All submitted material is reviewed by the editorial team. Submission of material does not guarantee publication. The editorial team decides what is published, updated, or removed.

9. Violations of the Rules

Violation of these rules may result in user accounts being suspended, contributions being removed, and access to the service being restricted or terminated.

10. Contributors and Users

Individuals who wish to contribute articles, photographs, historical information, documents, or other material to Nordkisa Historie must contact the editorial team. Contributor registration is limited and takes place only after individual assessment.

Contributors may choose whether they wish to remain publicly anonymous or have their name displayed alongside their contribution. However, Nordkisa Historie may require knowledge of a contributor's identity before publication.

11. Contact

Questions regarding registration, publication, content, or these rules may be sent to Nordkisa Historie through the website's contact page or other official contact channels.
